s-post [contributing to the fall countdown!]
O has dedicated some noteworthy op-ed pieces to reviewing the world of Mad Men. The real deal goes down in NYC every fall. Advertising Week.
See if you can catch any celebs around one of the big ad agencies (JT was spotted last year!). Maybe newlyweds Blake and Ryan are honeymooning together in the city. Uhh. Who knows, anything is possible…

attn: fellow Mad Men fans. fresh in all our memories is Megan Draper’s birthday present for Don, where she sang and danced to a french ditty called Zoe Bisou Bisou. the now-famous moment has since been youtubed and memed and mocked many times, both out of love and derision. Jessica Pare, the actress who plays Megan Draper, had been a significant character on Mad Men for a good chunk of season 4, yet most of mainstream America could not pick her out on a street. but after season 5’s premier with Megan’s performance of Zoe Bisou and the internet fallout from the clip’s popularity, Pare got more famous.
for all the minutes Jessica Pare spent on Mad Men, the two minutes of Zou Bisou are arguably be the most “important” ones. magic can be made in a limited time frame. (you hear that, Shikha?)
i think this is inspiration to all us artists: let’s keep creating moments and minutes for our reels and portfolios. you never know what moment or what minute will bring you to the next level in your career - or make you into a meme.
